The hotel was a breath of fresh air compared to chain hotels. The staff were friendly and efficient, and they even fixed a wifi issue in minutes. The availability of real fresh coffee on each floor was a pleasant surprise. The view of the river from the windows was calming and enjoyable. The thick walls ensured a quiet and peaceful stay. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh-tasting eggs and good coffee.
The carpeting in the public areas could be improved, although it seemed clean. The dining room stopped seating at 10 am, which seemed a little early.
